LED+SWITCH PROTOTYPES

Select one MOMENT from any of the three System Descriptions we’ve read in class so far (Predictor, Calliagnosia, MedSystem). Prototype it using ONE switch/button and ONE LED. This project is all about context! You must design and build an enclosure and/or environment in which the components are placed.

Reflection

For my prototyping design, I first thought of a large body scanning prototype but considered that this design might not be very flexible for scanning detailed parts of the body. So I decided to use a small scanner to scan the body parts in detail. After learning about the functions of other sensors, I finally chose to use Ultrasonic Distance Sensor (UDS) as the sensing part between the body and the scanner, and use the LED light to indicate the moment of detecting whether the patient has any physical damage or not.

During the production, I encountered some problems, such as the coding and hardware being correct, but the ultrasonic distance sensor did not work. After inspection, I found that UDS only supports 5V rather than 3V. I transferred ESP32 to UNO then it works.
